Deposit Required

A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking with the balance of payment being required 30 days prior to arrival. If your arrival date is within 30 days from the date the booking is made, then full payment is required. We recommend that you protect your travel investment by obtaining travel insurance.

Payment Options

We accept Visa or Mastercard payments via a secure payment gateway, or you can pay online directly into our bank account. If payment is via a credit card, a fee of 4% will be charged on the total cost of your booking. The name that will appear on your statement will be Great Escapes Qtown.

Minimum Stay Policy

A minimum stay of 3 nights is required to make a booking.

Booking Age Requirement

Although we welcome all ages, a booking can only be made by an adult over the age of 25 years. Identification may be required.

Linen & Towels

All linen and towels are provided. Our linen is premium quality with all items commercially laundered.

Cleaning

A cleaner is provided upon your departure to attend to floors, bathrooms, bedding and surfaces. However, as a guest it is expected that the home is left reasonably clean and tidy with all dishes washed and put away and any furniture returned to its original position. Any excess cleaning over and above what is deemed reasonable will be on-charged to the guest at a rate of $35.00 plus gst per hour.

Housekeeping

Regular servicing of the property can be arranged at an additional cost. If your stay is for 7 days or longer, we recommend at least one service during your stay.

Baby Equipment

Queenstown has a wonderful local company that specialises in providing baby equipment for travellers and they are appropriately called ‘Tots on Tour’. They will deliver and set up a cot or any other equipment required prior to your arrival. You can contact them direct at www.totsontour.co.nz or alternatively our company can source and organise this for you as part of your booking at a small fee.

Security Bond

As our holiday homes are privately owned, a security bond is required to protect each owner against the potential of financial loss if the property is left excessively unclean or damaged in any way. The security bond is $500.00 and is payable at the same time the balance of payment is required for your booking. The bond will be held in trust and refunded at the time we complete our checkout procedure.

Arrival Instructions

Great Escapes Queenstown provides a Meet & Greet service unless you anticipate arriving late in the evening at which time an alternative arrangement will be provided. Please advise our office of your expected arrival time as soon as possible.

Check In

You may check in anytime after 2.00pm on the date of your arrival. We will meet and greet you at the property and answer any queries you may have. If you expect to arrive after hours then a lockbox is available on site for you and access instructions will be provided. If you wish to check in earlier, please don’t hesitate to ask as we will endeavour to accommodate this request if it is possible.

Check Out

Check out time is strictly 10.00am unless prior arrangements have been made. If you would like to request a later checkout, please ask for approval upon your arrival. Late checkouts may incur a fee of up to 50% of the nightly rate if not pre-approved.

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed. The balance of payment which is due 30 days prior to arrival is also non-refundable.  We recommended each guest obtains travel insurance which covers any circumstance that would cause a last minute cancellation.
